ICONMA, LLC Ultrasound Sonographer in United States

Ultrasound Sonographer Location: St. Louis, MO Duration: 3 Months with possible contract to hire Description: ARDMS certification and BLS required. Must have experience doing follicle scans! Experience in reproductive medicine would be beneficial. Embryo-transfer experience would be preferred. Position performs ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physicians for a Reproductive Medicine unit. The individual will perform a high volume of follicle scans, support IVF services and play an important role of the multidisciplinary IVF team. Performs ultrasound examinations per scanning protocols, correcting patient history with examination and presents study to physician for examination while adhering to patient schedules. Assists physicians with procedures, providing sonographic guidance during process, obtains necessary supplies and equipment and monitors patient needs assisting physicians with patient support. Maintains documentation as required including patient files, performs data entry and completes paperwork needed for procedures/processes. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Skills: Working knowledge of ultrasound equipment and procedures with interpersonal and communication skills. Education: High school diploma or equivalent high school certification Registered (A.R.D.M.S.) required with some experience in ultrasound preferred.
