Texas A&M University's Technology Services (https://it.tamu.edu/) is actively seeking an Associate Director, Cloud & Platform Security to develop and direct cybersecurity strategy related to cloud infrastructure and SaaS platforms. This is an onsite position located in College Station, Texas.

A glimpse of what you will do

  • Be the principal technical expert on all aspects of security related to cloud technologies

  • Lead, mentor, and expand a talented team of engineers

  • Actively engage with campus stakeholders, advocating for best security practices

  • Design, build, and maintain tools and sample code for consumption by operations teams

  • Stay ahead of emerging security threats and technologies, and guide the university toward cutting-edge, secure cloud computing practices

    Salary Range: $124,000–$132,000 commensurate with education and experience

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Eight years of technical managerial experience

  • Must be a United States citizen, permanent resident, or a person granted asylum or refugee status in accordance with 15 CFR § 762; 22 CFR §§122.5, 123.22 and 123.26; and 31 CFR § 501.601
