Robert Half Project Assistant in Savannah, Georgia

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Project Assistant in the Non-Profit industry, based in Savannah, Georgia. This role involves working on-site at various community events, providing exceptional customer service, and performing administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be instrumental in recruiting donors at blood drives, setting up event materials, and liaising with donor group contacts.

Responsibilities include:

• Actively recruiting donors on-site at assigned blood drives and encouraging them to donate to help meet or exceed blood drive goals

• Setting up necessary signage, table, tent, and blood drive event materials to properly advertise the event

• Providing the highest quality of customer service to all sponsors, patrons, donors, and co-workers

• Reporting results and any pertinent information throughout the duration and at the end of each blood drive worked

• Facilitating our mission by providing information and logistical support to the donor group contacts

• Relieving and/or referring all donor/sponsor complaints to the relevant team

• Carrying out other duties as required or assigned

• Coordinating community events and administrative management tasks

• Onboarding and training new team members as necessary

• Scheduling and managing blood drives, with a focus on weekend events

• Handling donor recruitment and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new donors.

Please note that this role involves being on-site at various community events and may require weekend work. Requirements • Must have a proven track record in community events organization and coordination.

• Strong experience in administrative management is required.

• Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate events efficiently.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

• Should have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Experience in the non-profit sector is preferred.

• Proficiency in using various software applications for event management.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Ability to work flexibly according to the needs of the project.

• Must have a strong commitment to the values and goals of the non-profit sector.
