As a Pricing Consultant, you will be the sales variance analyst for the Resource Industries product group teams supporting the forecasting, reporting and analysis of machine revenue and net price realization.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely within the Global Machine Pricing (GMP) organization with merchandising and product pricing teams to collect, summarize, evaluate, and communicate monthly Marketing Sales Variance trends.

  • Maintain datasets and visuals used to aggregate forecast input and summarize detailed explanations for monthly changes. Provide consistent views of the detail that can be used to further evaluate proposed changes and scenario views.

  • Communicate updates to forecast data and commercial drivers to a wide variety of stakeholders.

  • Lead projects within the GMP teams focused on forecasting and reporting process improvements.

  • Collaborate with Business Unit teams on P&L forecast submissions of sales variance and net price realization analysis.

What You Have:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields and 2+ years of experience

  • Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

  • Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Familiarity with Power BI

Additional Info :

  • This position can be located in our Peoria, IL or Tucson, AZ office

  • This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office

  • Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify

  • Sponsorship is not available

  • International and Domestic travel up to 5%
