Summary:

Independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Responsible for professional accountability and development. Required experience is 18 months Acute Care/Specialty. Position fills needs within the department.

Minimum Qualifications:

• at least 18 months RN acute care experience required

• at least 1 year RN experience in Labor & Delivery strongly preferred

• Required - BLS (Basic Life Support); Required - RN (Registered Nurse); Required - ACLS (Cardiovascular) - If required by department; Preferred - Nurse Specialty

Shift Hours: 7pm - 7am

Weekend Work: Occasional

On Call: No
