The Dining Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of duties including ware washing and basic housekeeping for the department. Primary function will include bussing, cashiering, hosting and Barista all while satisfying the needs of the guest. Must be able to use computer registers, balance cash, document correctly, and keep line moving and patrons happy. In addition, cleaning of the restaurants physical environment- including but not limited to, walls, floors, windows, refrigerators, filters, and other related areas. Keep area in a professional and welcoming condition, stocking, serving, and general cleanup. All aspects of food handling shall be in accordance with HACCP, health and regulatory standards. Must demonstrate a positive attitude, impression and treats others as guests. Working from a team-centered approach, communicates effectively while serving the needs of the restaurant guest. Makes excellence the goal of each interaction, adheres to proper portion control, preparing/handling food, maintaining proper food temperatures and sanitary conditions. Completes all other job duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Minimum Education : High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required
Required Minimum Experience: 1-3 years restaurant food service experience, preferably in an upscale restaurant.
Required Minimum Skills: Must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and math. Ability to maintain excellent customer under stressful conditions in a courteous, professional, yet tactful manner. Good math skills required. Knowledge of safe food handling procedures.
