Fiber Install Technician (S2)

Description

We are seeking an experienced Install Technician II to join our team. As an Install Technician II, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining a variety of technical equipment and systems. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, strong customer services skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of technical equipment and systems, ensuring efficient and accurate operation.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and coordinate installation projects, ensuring timely completion.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performing repairs as necessary.
• Conduct tests and inspections to ensure equipment meets quality standards and specifications.
• Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are familiar with the operation and maintenance of installed equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including documentation of work performed and any modifications or upgrades made.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, continuously updating knowledge and skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in installation and maintenance of technical equipment
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and computer hardware/software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and provide training and support to end-users.
• Valid driver\'s license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
