Description

We are providing an opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the manufacturing industry. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating the general ledger, assisting with bank reconciliations, and helping with month-end closing activities. This role also requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to the general ledger

• Assist with bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy

• Participate in month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Prepare and enter journal entries for various transactions

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation

• Assist with other accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Must have proven experience in General Ledger management

• Previous experience in bank reconciliations is required

• Must have the ability to prepare Journal Entries accurately

• Experience in Month End Close procedures is necessary

• Knowledge of manufacturing industry accounting standards is beneficial

• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills are required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
