Job Overview :

The Logistics & Trade Comp Tech provides solutions to problems in the Logistics & Trade Compliance discipline without supervisory approval and will evaluate and select solutions from established operating procedures and/or scientific procedures.

To Join or Pipeline Production Group and out procurement and cost tracking team.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Generate documentation related to the activities, invoices, packing list, etc., and consolidate with the rest of the documents issued by other departments to coordinate the shipments to the destination

  • Support import/export activities of McDermott by providing required reports as necessary

  • Assist in guiding customs agents to ensure clearance of shipments inbound/outbound

  • Coordinate transportation with freight forwarders

  • Coordinate internally with various departments to organize shipments

  • Coordinate externally with transport companies for transport requirements

  • Prepare shipping documents and distribute as required

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Associate’s Degree/Foundation (or equivalent) in relevant discipline or HSD/GED/IGCSE or 2 years of relevant experience

  • 0-3 years of relevant experience

  • Must be proactive, results-oriented, and have strong attention to detail

  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to exercise sound judgment

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet targeted deadlines

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to voice structured comments and suggestions with managers and peers

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language

  • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Must be flexible with working hours
