Job Description: Responsible for providing supervision and care for a group of children through a caring, positive, authoritative relationship. Assists in the planning and implementing of scheduled period(s) of activities, which are developmentally appropriate and ensures the safety and well-being of the children as well as providing a model of quality. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares and implements a program of activities in accordance with agency curriculum for a group of children.
• Prepares lesson plans.
• Maintains attendance records for a designated group of children and adheres to work and activity schedules.
• Assists in food preparation and distribution.
• Establishes an maintains control and safety of an assigned group of children.
• Assures the designated work area(s).
• Assists children with feeding and bathroom needs i.e., changing diapers, helping child to restroom, feed child(ren), etc.
• Provides customer service.
• Participates in parent contact and communication as assigned.
• Communicates the child's progress with parents.
• Employer has dress code
• Identifies safety hazards and corrects or reports them to supervisor.
• Attends staff meetings, training events, workshops, etc. and maintains required level of training hours with required documentation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
