The Rehabilitation Aide provides non-skilled assistance in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a licensed physical therapist/occupational therapist/speech therapist/recreational therapist. This includes general cleanliness and maintenance of therapy equipment and treatment areas, and assistance with clerical duties as indicated.Educations:

Cleans all equipment used daily during patient care, including weights, swiss balls, modalities and carts, assistive devices, nautilus machines and cardiovascular equipment. Completes bi weekly cleaning of hot pack/cold pack machines, paraffin bath, nautilus machines and hot pack covers. Informs supervisor of malfunctioning/defective equipment and calls bioengineering for repair as directed.
