Job Description

BAE Systems, Inc. is currently looking for a Full Stack Developer (Sr) to join an innovative team of developers in Washington, DC. This position supports the development of mission-critical applications for a federal government client focused on national security.

The Full Stack Developer candidate must have the following skills and experience:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

• 8 years' experience with programming and software development in multiple layers in the software stack (UI, web, or microservices, database, search).

• Experience with leading or advanced programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.

• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability.

The successful candidate will develop a a web application a micro-front-end (MFE) application architecture. The successful candidate will be developing in AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology. The developer will work in conjunction with other government and contractor developers to assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application. Support will include, but is not limited to, the gathering, analysis, and development of specifications/requirements provided by the system owner. The developer may be tasked with supporting all aspects of the project to include all phases of life cycle development. The contractor will need to possess strong user interface skills using Vue3 application development. Also, they must possess a strong foundation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

1. Strong JavaScript/TypeScript Application Development in Vue3

2. Vue3 (3 years or more experience)

3. C#/.NET development

4. Strong understanding of ElasticSearch Queries and Aggregations

5. Experience in Test Driven Development

6. AWS experience

7. Experience with data analysis, transformation, and visualization

8. Strong understanding of UI design principals

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

1. Atlassian tools: Gitlab/Jira

2. Familiarity with Python and Jupyter Notebooks

3. Agile/SAFe experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
