Position Description

Performs a wide range of ultrasound studies, procedures and Dopplers to include general, vascular, GYN and limited OB for pediatric and adult patients. Provides physicians with quality images for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a Radiologist. Provides optimal patient care. Contributes to a positive work atmosphere and cultivates a cooperative work environment within the department.

Position Requirements

Associates Degree in Accredited Sonography Program and 1 year or more of experience in Ultrasound, including clinical rotations during schooling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to operate ultrasound equipment. Certification(s) required: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS). Licensure(s) required: ARDMS.

Preferred Requirements

Bachelors degree in an accredited Sonography program. 1 year or more of experience in Ultrasound. Experience in vascular ultrasound. RVT license at date of hire or within 6 months of hire.
