WellStar Medical Group is seeking an Acute Care Advance Practice Provider - ACNP, AGACNP or Physician Assistant.
This opportunity is with the Neurosciences Service Line at WellStar Atlanta Medical Center is a 762-licensed state-designated Level I Trauma Center and Advanced Primary Stroke Center in the heart of Atlanta.
The Neurosciences group provides comprehensive neurological care with neurointerventional, neurosurgical, neuroradiology and neurology services.
Looking for previous inpatient critical care experience.
Acute Care Advance Practice Providerperforms healthcare services to patients under the direction and responsibility of a physician. Provides comprehensive and problem focused histories and physical examinations, orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests. Develops a treatment plan within the scope of practice and in collaboration with the physician when necessary. Exercise judgment on conditions requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation with the supervising physician or to other healthcare professional.
Required Minimum Education:
- Masters Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing.
- Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Required Minimum Experience:
- Previous inpatient critical care experience in Neurosciences preferred.
