Robert Half Employee Relations Director in Atlanta, Georgia

Description

Robert Half HR Solutions is currently sourcing for a Contract Employee Relations/Investigation Director for our retail client with 10k employees. The ideal candidate is based in Atlanta and is available to be onsite Monday-Thursday with 1 day remote. This contract opportunity will last 3-6 months with potential to convert based on performance and business needs. The sole focus of this role is Employee Investigations to support the field HR Directors.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 10+ years of experience with Employee Investigations

  • Employee investigation audit experiences

  • Excellent communication skills (written & oral) & grammar skills when documenting finding and report. You will report to managers with legal backgrounds.

  • In depth knowledge of US Labor Laws to support investigations coast to coast

  • High EQ to work with all levels of employees from entry level to executives

  • Ability to be decisive & diplomatic

  • Analytical and strategic skills required to spot trends to determine best resolutions and build out the investigation role to support the field HR teams and suggest process improvements

  • Experience testifying at deposition or employment hearings a plus

  • Partner with Legal, HR and business leaders to interpret corporate policy

  • Bachelor's degree

• Demonstrated expertise in Employee Relations Investigations

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results

• Strong problem-solving skills; the ability to analyze complex data to provide meaningful results

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment of change, challenge, sensitive deadlines and competing priorities

• Solid understanding of local and national employment laws and regulations

• Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills

• High ethical standards and commitment to maintain confidentiality.
