Google Tag Manager Specialist (E-commerce Launch) - Part-Time

The Role

We're seeking a talented Google Tag Manager Specialist to join us on a part-time basis as we launch our e-commerce site. You'll play a critical role in setting up the foundation for our data collection and analysis, ensuring we gain valuable insights from day one.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the marketing team to understand the buyer journey and key conversion points.

• Implement Google Tag Manager on our new e-commerce site from the ground floor.

• Configure tags to track user behavior, conversions, and other relevant data points.

• Establish data layer integration for seamless data flow.

• Integrate Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics to pull data into our existing dashboards.

• Monitor tag performance and troubleshoot any issues.

• Analyze data and provide key learnings and recommendations for optimizing the tagging ecosystem.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience implementing Google Tag Manager on websites.

• Strong understanding of e-commerce analytics and common conversion tracking events.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (a plus).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Schedule:

• This is a part-time role with a commitment of 20-30 hours per week for the first two weeks (during the launch phase).

• After the initial launch, the role will transition to approximately 5 hours per week for ongoing monitoring and reporting.
